Entry Points
By Air – Kathmandu (KTM)
Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu is Nepal's only international airport. It handles 30+ international airlines with connections from major hubs: Bangkok, Delhi, Singapore, Doha, Dubai, and more. From Kathmandu, take a 25-minute domestic flight or 6-7 hour bus to Pokhara.
By Land – India Border
Indian nationals and travelers from India can enter through the Sunauli/Bhairahawa border crossing. From there, it's a 5-6 hour drive to Pokhara. We can help coordinate your arrival logistics for land border crossings.
Important Notes
- • Indian nationals do not need a visa for Nepal – just a valid ID
- • Citizens of some countries may need to apply in advance – check with your nearest Nepal Embassy
- • Keep your visa receipt safe – you'll need it for extensions
- • For 200-hour YTT (21 days), a 30-day visa ($50) is sufficient
- • We recommend carrying $100-200 in cash USD for visa and initial expenses
